Fantasy Heartbreak Workshop
Purpose
I love roleplaying games, be they fantasy or otherwise. I love tinkering with old systems and settings and making up my own new mechanics until the old elements are nearly unrecognisable. Technically Fantasy Heartbreakers are a narrowly defined category of games which strive for a similar goal. But even though not all my games could be considered true fantasy heartbreakers I still feel they carry on the noble spirit of it's proud tradition.
Settings
Realms of Twilight - Occult-fantasy set in the modern world.
Owl Light - A distant world in the shadow of a giant, long after the fall.
Axis Mundi - The World Tree stretches between the dim realm below and luminous mists above, spreading branches a mile thick, universes hanging like fruit from it's branches. Many beings, fae, mortals, gods traverse it's limbs in pursuit of their own affairs. Crisis threatens, dare you set sally forth to face the blight among the worlds beyond?
(and just for fun)
Midday Langor in Nimbay - Wizards of the Coast's "Dark Sun" campaign setting re-imagined and statted out for use with Fiat.
Game Systems
A diceless RPG.
There's a trend among some recent games to proclaim how they're telling a story of some sort. Well that's all well and good, but Narrativism is only one of the so-called Creative Agendas. By contrast I'm exercising the audacity to claim that this system supports all such agendas.
Based on Fiat and the old Storyteller games. RPBPR is a system intended for to play RPGs (the old World of Darkness games in particular) in online forums or via e-mail.
